Challenge/Problem
In order to put the price of the billing log for a customer, AT&T team needed to manually go through the excel spreadsheet and check rows one by one and consult different documents to put a price for the calls. In addition to that, our team at AT&T had to go through the process of checking other documents to see which regions were available for discount and then check the discount price.
Solution
We built a Windows Desktop Application and added all necessary configuration information that we extracted from catalogue documents and added them to Database, which would take prices and apply to every call. Also, we categorized the calls based on the billing category configured by C3 team at AT&T. Moreover, the tool separated the file based on the different states and generated a summary report.
Results
The solution managed to Save 2.5 hours of time enabling the business to:
• reduce costs and under-utilised resources;
• increase efficiencies and productivity;
• improve working processes and collaboration
