Network Security Engineer – Tier 2 & 3

Kosbit is looking for hands-on and experienced (Tier/Level 3) engineers that will be responsible for the provision of support to AT&T Clients, IT Infrastructure utilizing SD-WAN Products Cisco Meraki, Security products (firewall – Palo Alto, Fortinet, proxy Zscaler, Umbrella, Remote access – Pulse Secure), wireless – Aruba, IPT – Cisco, DNS – Infoblox and IPAM. Tier 2/3 engineer will be responsible for providing tier 2/3 support and final point of escalations in resolving customer’s issues. Work with vendor and other supports groups within AT&T to provide operational support to customers.

Responsibilities
• Provide Tier 2/3 support day to day operational incidents of Customer LAN/WAN/MAN, Security, proxy IPT, DNS and cloud infrastructure;
• Diagnose incidents by examining network infrastructure and apply skills to determine the root cause;
• Provides timely updates to customers/team members;
• Work with Incident Management team to resolve P1 and P2 issues;
• Provide accurate Incident resolution within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Operating Level Agreement (OLA) time frames, meeting or exceeding customers’ requirements and expectations;

Requirements:

• Operations support experience of LAN /WAN/Security/IPT and DNS Infrastructure;
• Hands-on experience in WAN, LAN, VPN, MPLS, IPSEC, GRE and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and firewall support for Fortinet and Palo Alto;
• Network Address Translation (NAT) and Port Address Translation (PAT);
• Experience in customer operations incident handling is critical to this position;
• Experience in interacting and effectively communicating with clients;
• Understanding of 24×7 mission critical enterprise applications and the impact of service disruption on a company’s bottom line;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills;
• Experience in handling Incidents related to Zscaler proxy / Umbrella hosted in cloud would be an added advantage;
• Engineering/ Graduation/ Diploma/Equivalent in Computer Science;
• Preferred: CCNA/CCNP or Equivalent;

• Team Player: Be motivated, be able to work alone and comfortable interacting with other team members, be it in the same office or across international boundaries;
• Cloud support experience would be an added advantage;
